As the Executive Vice President of Business Development and a Founder of the Social Media Group, Sameer Sheikh brings with him a wide range of experience within the political realm, non-profit and NGO sectors. He began his career with Senator John Kerry (D-MA), serving in multiple capacities, both on his Presidential campaign as well as in his Senate offices. He would later join the United Nations, where he served as an Adviser to the President of the Economic and Social Council, in New York City.
Currently, he is the Assistant to the President & CEO of Grameen Foundation, at their international headquarters in Washington, D.C. Sameer graduated Cum Laude and with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics, and has completed programs of study at La Sorbonne and l'Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po).
