Chris Downie is the Founder/CEO of SparkPeople.com, one of the largest health-related websites with about 5 million monthly site visits. SparkPeople's mission is to SPARK millions of PEOPLE to reach their goals. They do this by making the world a healthier place one person at a time. Chris loves being part of the passionate SparkPeople team.
Prior to SparkPeople, Chris was one of two original co-founders of Up4Sale.com, a site that grew into the second largest person-to-person auction site in 1997/8. eBay acquired Up4Sale.com in 1998 just prior to its IPO - eBay's first acquisition.
Chris is married with two sons. His goal is to stay in great shape so he can be a good Dad and husband.
